ABOUT THE ASPEN WILDFIRE FOUNDATION
ABOUT US
The Aspen Wildfire Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building long-term wildfire resilience throughout the Aspen area and connected landscapes.
We believe that protecting our community requires more than responding to wildfire after it begins. It requires proactive investment in prevention, preparedness, innovation, education, and partnerships that reduce risk before disasters occur.
Working alongside the Aspen Fire Protection District and regional partners, the Foundation mobilizes philanthropic support for projects that strengthen emergency response capabilities, improve forest health, expand community preparedness, and accelerate innovative wildfire technologies.
By bringing together donors, businesses, public agencies, nonprofit organizations, visitors and residents, we are helping build a community that is better prepared for the realities of a changing climate while protecting the landscapes and quality of life that define the Roaring Fork Valley.
Aspen Wildfire Foundation's mission is to proactively reduce the impacts of wildfire by supporting preparedness, mitigation, response, recovery, education, and innovative solutions that protect our community.
A future where people, forests, watersheds, wildlife, and communities thrive alongside fire through resilience, innovation, and shared stewardship.
The Aspen Wildfire Foundation is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors and staff committed to advancing innovative solutions that protect our community today and for future generations.
Whether you choose to donate, attend an event, sponsor a project, or simply learn more about wildfire resilience, you are helping protect the place we all call home.
